Huge Carved Turquoise Canister - Handmade to Order

Handmade to order, May take 3-6 weeks to create.

      This huge hand thrown pottery lidded jar stands 14" tall and 8" wide. This canister or lidded jar has an amazing presence about it.  The bright turquoise glaze this the large lidded jar contrasts the toasty color of the carved raw clay which has been left unglazed. After this piece was hand thrown on the wheel the clay was trimmed and altered while it was still wet.

This huge lidded jar is an interesting one of a kind pottery piece that is sure to liven up your home or garden. This lidded jar would also work well a cookie jar or a crematory urn as it holds well over 200 cubic inches.
