Huge Turquoise Splash Canister- Handmade to Order

      This huge hand thrown pottery lidded jar stands 15" tall and 7" wide. This canister or lidded jar has an amazing presence about it. The bright turquoise glaze splashed on the body this the large lidded canister contrasts the toasty color of the raw clay which has been left unglazed. After this piece was hand thrown on the wheel the clay was trimmed and altered while it was still wet.

This huge lidded jar is an interesting one of a kind pottery piece that is sure to liven up your home or garden. This lidded jar would also work well a cookie jar or a crematory urn as it holds well over 200 cubic inches.

All of our pottery here in our shop has been handmade by husband and wife potters JR and Kristen Page in Burnsville North Carolina.
