Set of Four Woven Soup Bowls in Shale- Handmade to Order

    Measuring approx. 7" x 3" these four bowls are bowls are light weight as well as nest inside of each other for easy storage. Our soup bowls have been hand thrown on the pottery wheel from a durable stoneware clay. They were each then hand carved in our Woven pattern and glazed in our simple yet elegant Shale glaze. This glaze shows off the the carving beautifully, while letting your food be the star of the show. We left the rim and foot of these bowls unglazed, the toasty color of the raw clay gives great contrast in color and texture. The bottoms are all signed and dated as well as polished smooth.

This set of four bowls is designed to to be versatile and durable, as well as nest inside of each other for easy storage. The beautiful yet subtle shale glaze is sure to brighten your home as well as enrich your cooking and eating experience.

All of our stoneware pottery is fully functional for daily use, food safe, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe.

As with all handmade pottery slight variation occurs making each unique.

These soup bowls were created by husband and wife potters J.R. and Kristen Page in Burnsville North Carolina.
