Ridged Serving Bowl or Mixing Bowl in Shale - Handmade to Order

     This hand thrown and carved pottery serving bowl or mixing bowl is in our simple but elegant Shale glaze. This serving bowl will be a great way to present your home cooked meal in our handmade serving bowl. Hand thrown on the potters wheel, from a durable stoneware clay, then a foot was trimmed to be light weight. The ridged texture is then hand carved. The bottom is then signed and dated as well as polished smooth. This serving bowl is glazed in our beautiful Shale glaze, showing of the Ridged texture that was carved. Serve your favorite side, harvest your pepper crop or use it as a mixing bowl. A very useful serving bowl to have around.

All of our stoneware pottery is fully functional for daily use, food safe, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe, and never contains lead.

All of our pottery here in our shop has been handmade by husband and wife potters JR and Kristen Page in Burnsville North Carolina.
