This beautiful stoneware pottery lidded splash jar or kitchen canister will be a great addition to your home. Hand thrown on the potters wheel from a durable stoneware clay. Then the lid was thrown and carefully trimmed to fit well. Glaze was splashed onto the outside of this piece in our Slate Blue revealing the rust colored clay of the raw clay.
This lidded splash jar kitchen canister or honey pot measures 8"H x 8"W, and holds 2 quarts or a half gallon.
Our goal as a potters is to make functional pottery that people can have a personal relationship with. When you're using what has been made by hand, you will get an understanding of the relationship that you would not be getting from one churned out of a factory.
All of our stoneware pottery is fully functional for daily use, food safe, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe.
