This hand thrown pottery kitchen canister set in our Woven design will be a great addition to your home. Hand thrown on the pottery wheel from a durable stoneware clay is the perfect storage solution for your kitchen. The simple yet elegant Shale glaze contrasts the warm color of the carved clay to show off the woven texture. After each piece was hand thrown on the wheel the clay was trimmed and altered while it was still wet. Each lid is then trimmed to fit just right.
The largest canister of the set of 3 stands approx. 12" tall and 7" wide, holds close to a gallon(100+oz).
The approx. 10" Medium canister holds 2 Quarts or a 1/2 Gallon (64oz)
The approx. 8" Small/Coffee container holds (38-40oz).
As with all handmade pottery slight variation may occur in color and shape, making each unique.
Our goal as a potters is to make functional pottery that people can have a personal relationship with. When you're using a kitchen canister set that has been made by hand, you will get an understanding of the relationship that you would not be getting from one churned out of a factory.
This kitchen canister set and all of our stoneware pottery is fully functional for daily use, food safe, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe.
