This beautiful stoneware pottery kitchen canister or lidded jar will be a great addition to your home. Hand thrown on the potters wheel from a durable stoneware clay. Then the lid was thrown and carefully trimmed to fit well. Two handles were then attached on either side for grip and to give this jar a little attitude. Glazed in our Slate Blue glaze design with a rust colored dot right in the center on both sides.
This kitchen canister or honey pot measures 10"H x 8"W, and holds close to a gallon.
Our goal as a potters is to make functional pottery that people can have a personal relationship with. When you're using what has been made by hand, you will get an understanding of the relationship that you would not be getting from one churned out of a factory.
All of our stoneware pottery is fully functional for daily use, food safe, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe.
