These hand thrown pottery pint glasses or Pilsner in Shale each measure approx 5" and comfortably hold 20 oz. Each of these lovely tumblers are hand thrown on the pottery wheel from a durable stoneware clay. These pints are then hand carved in our peaked design pattern and trimmed to ensure it fits your hand perfectly. Each pint is then glazed in our simple yet elegant Shale glaze that show the carvings off.
As with all handmade pottery expect slight variation in color and size.
All of our stoneware pottery mugs are fully functional for daily use, food safe, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe.
Our goal as craftspeople is to make functional pottery that people can have a personal relationship with. When you're drinking from a simple handmade tumbler that feels good in your hand, you will get an understanding of the relationship that you would not be getting from one churned out of a factory.
