This hand thrown pottery serving bowl has hand carved ridges along the outside and has a smooth glossy inside. This serving bowl measures 9" x 3.5" and is perfect for serving so many dishes as well as doubling as a mixing bowl. Any side dish you make will be a perfect fit in this gorgeous hand carved bowl. Each serving bowl is hand thrown on the pottery wheel from a durable stoneware clay body, then carefully hand carved. Glazed in Shale, which highlights texture beautifully.
As potters our goal is to make functional pottery that people can have a personal relationship with. When you're serving your homemade food from a handmade serving bowl, it just adds to the experience.
All of our stoneware pottery is fully functional for daily use, is food safe, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe.
Everything here in our shop has been handmade by husband and wife potters JR and Kristen Page in the mountains of North Carolina. Handmade to order, may take 3-6 weeks to complete.
