        This large 10"x5" hand thrown serving bowl has hand carved ridges along the outside and has a smooth glossy inside. This large serving bowl is perfect for serving so many dishes as well as doubling as mixing bowl. A family sized salad is a perfect fit in this gorgeous hand carved serving bowl.

Hand thrown on the pottery wheel from a durable stoneware clay, this large serving bowl is then carved to have a ridged texture on the outside which is both pleasing to the touch and sight. Measuring approx 10"x5" this large serving bowl is glazed in our simple yet elegant Shale glaze.

Our goal as  potters is to make functional pottery that people can have a personal relationship with. When you're serving a handmade dinner from a hand thrown bowl, you will get an understanding of the relationship that you would not be getting from one churned out of a factory.

All of our stoneware pottery is fully functional for daily use, food safe, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe.
