This large wheel thrown Raku pottery bottle has truly incredible colors that the photos just don't do justice. Standing 12" x 9" this organic looking bottle has a impression of a real fern on the side and is beyond beautiful. A one of a kind art piece that can never be duplicated.
This decorative Raku bottle was fired to 1800 degrees then removed from the kiln while red hot to create the lively color variations. You can still see where the flame kissed the side of this piece of pottery.
As with any raku know that it is not vitrified, so it will not hold water for long periods.
