This unusual fiery twisted raku pottery vase has truly incredible colors that the photos just don't do justice. Standing 9" this organic looking bottle was wheel thrown by hand.
This decorative raku pottery vase was fired to 1800 degrees then removed from the kiln while red hot to create the lively color variations. You can still see where the flame kissed the side of this piece of pottery.
As with any raku you want to keep it out of direct sunlight and know that it is not vitrified, so it will not hold water for long periods.
Everything here in our shop has been handmade by husband and wife potters J.R. and Kristen Page in Burnsville North Carolina.
