Nature Walk Series Raku Lamp Base - IN STOCK

             Living in the mountains of North Carolina provides us with ample inspirational settings to hike. On these nature walks we collect certain leaves and plants that we think may create a beautiful mark when fired onto our pottery.

This Raku lamp base has some of our specimens fired directly onto it while red hot. The plant leaves a carbon transfer of its' shape onto the pottery in shades of black and charcoal grey. The rest of the lamp is adorned in pastel shades of blushes and lavender.

The Raku lamp was hand thrown on the potters wheel,then carved and altered. Then it was buffed to be satin smooth.

This Raku lamp base measures 12.5" x 7"
